What are the benefits of Bikram?
Bikram Yoga is designed to “scientifically” warm and stretch muscles, ligaments, and tendons in the order in which they should be stretched. The practice of this style of yoga promotes the cleansing of the body, release of toxins and utmost flexibility. It can also reduce stress and increase blood circulation as well as help you lose weight and develop muscles.
Anyone can practice Bikram Yoga. Even people with chronic diseases such as arthritis, diabetes and thyroid disorder may benefit in doing the Yoga Poses by reducing symptoms. It is also one of the best ways to prevent any ailments by keeping the body healthy.

How long is the Yoga Class?
All classes are 90 minutes. Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start class. (First-timers at least 15 minutes ti register)

How hot is “Hot Yoga”?
It’s pretty hot at 104 degrees. You are guaranteed to sweat. Wear lightweight workout clothes, preferably a breathable material such as Lycra. Bring water and a yoga mat. These items are also available for purchase / rent at the studio.

What should I do to prepare for the class?
Drink plenty of water throughout the day before class. Don’t try to hydrate in class. Sips if water is fine but ultimately you want no food or liquid in the stomach during the practice.
